Shadow

My shadow lurks behind me,

Darker than black could ever be,

She watches me all day,

But in the night, she cannot stay.

Each person has their own,

The Sun is behind me, she has grown,

Lonely I feel, as the Sun goes down,

But I hope to see her, maybe in town.
